Scouting America Troop 731 is a youth-led organization that prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
District, Council, National
Scouting America is part of Thunderwolf District which is part of Sam Houston Area Council. Some of our scouts are also members of the Colonneh Lodge Order of the Arrow. Our favorite camp, Camp Strake, is supported through Sam Houston Area Council.
What makes Troop 731 Special?
Scouting America Troop 731 has a group of dedicated volunteers offering many opportunities for scouts to succeed in the Scouting program. We offer a First Class Emphasis (FCE) Program that meets the first Saturday of the month, taught by scouts in an Instructor leadership role. We also have dedicated volunteers that coach Life-to-Eagle process.
